He has had no incidents with the public, his sleep has improved, and he now enjoys activities like gym sessions, football, gardening, and team-building exercises. These have strengthened his confidence, relationships, and well-being.

LS’s Journey: Overcoming Sensory Challenges
LS struggled with extreme distress triggered by sensory sensitivities, making community participation difficult. Even leaving his car was a challenge.
How We’ve Made a Difference
Through structured support and gradual exposure, LS has built resilience. He now confidently engages in cooking, prepares his own meals, and enjoys outings such as car exhibitions, watching airplanes, and music therapy.
The Road Ahead
Our goal is to further strengthen LS’s confidence, encourage more community engagement, and reduce reliance on medication, all through Positive Behaviour Support.
SF’s Journey: From Struggles to Strength
When SF joined us, he faced significant challenges as a wheelchair user, including behaviours of concern and a lack of engagement in outdoor activities.
How We’ve Made a Difference
Through dedicated Positive Behaviour Support, SF has embraced a new way of life. He now actively participates in physiotherapy to achieve his dream of walking again. He enjoys a variety of activities, from disco nights and museum visits to sensory experiences like mud play, bowling, and swimming. His confidence and determination continue to grow.
